One of the quickest and most effective ways to reduce fever is with holy basil, with the ability of this herb to lower body temperature being similar to that of aspirin – the difference is that there are no adverse effects using holy basil, even after long-term exposure. What’s more, it is a proven antibacterial that can kill infection-causing microbes, which may represent a possible reason for the fever in the first place.
Starting with five drops of holy basil oil and one teaspoon of jojoba oil, you’ll want to blend the oils in a glass jar with a lid, cover the jar with its lid, shake to mix, put a few drops on the back of your neck and on the bottom of your feet and repeat three times a day for three to five days.
The oil of peppermint is extracted from a perennial herb that belongs to the Labiatea family, and is usually colorless but with a smidgen of yellowish or greenish-yellow hue.
